Emmanuel Durand intervenes in competition law and merger control. In this respect, he advises clients in antitrust litigation files as well as in non-contentious matters, notably in merger control. He has also developed a highly recognized expertise in the fields of sport and media law.
Member of the Paris Bar since 1999, he’s graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (IEP) of Strasbourg (1991) and holds a Master’s degree in Business law & DJCE in Business law from the University of Robert Schuman Strasbourg III (1996).
Before joining De Pardieu Brocas Maffei as Partner in October 2016, he formerly was an in-house lawyer for Group Auchan (1997-1998) and first practiced as associate at Jeantet & Associés (1998), Herbert Smith (2000), Clifford Chance (2002-2016). He became counsel at Clifford Chance in 2006 and Partner in 2013.
