Philippe Guibert’s wide-ranging practice covers all litigation aspects before the relevant domestic and European authorities and courts encompassing competition and criminal investigations into anti-competitive practices, cartels, abuses of dominant position, State aids, distribution networks-related issues and competitive harm compensation actions. He is also a highly recognized practitioner in French and European merger control, including international transactions requiring multiple notifications.
He is a renowned lawyer having more than 20 years’ experience advising French and international groups in a wide range of sectors (industry, food processing, digital services, distribution, banking, energy, audiovisual, telecommunications, transport, healthcare, etc.).
Chairman of the Antitrust Committee of the European American Chamber of Commerce (EAAC), member of the Association Française de l’Etude de la Concurrence (AFEC) and of the Association des Avocats Pratiquant le Droit de la Concurrence (APDC), Philippe Guibert has regularly contributed to the drafting of laws and regulations relating to competition law. He is also the author of numerous articles and publications on EU and domestic competition law.
He has been a partner in the Competition Law & Mergers Control Department of De Pardieu since its creation in 2004.
