De Pardieu Brocas Maffei has advised Crédit Mutuel Equity (shareholder of Minafin since 2005) and Quilvest Capital Partners (together with MACSF) on their minority investment in the capital of the Belgian fine chemicals group Minafin. The management team reinvests in this new transaction alongside the founder, Frédéric Gauchet, who consolidates his majority position in the capital of the Minafin group.

Minafin had been sponsored since 2017 by a pool of minority investors including Andera Partners, Siparex, Crédit Mutuel Equity and Nord Croissance. Andera Partners is selling its entire stake while Siparex and Nord Croissance are leaving and reinvesting a part. The new pool of financial investors, consisting of Crédit Mutuel Equity and Quilvest Capital Partners (co-leaders), and Siparex and Nord Croissance (re-investors), will hold a minority stake, the remainder being shared between Frédéric Gauchet, founder and majority shareholder, and the management team.

Founded in 2004, Minafin is a leading global fine chemical developer and manufacturer, specialising in active pharmaceutical ingredients (“API”) manufacturing and green chemistry. The group operates six industrial facilities in France, Belgium, Germany and the United States supporting international customers in the life sciences and high-tech industries.
