De Pardieu Brocas Maffei strengthens its Corporate Tax Law practice with the arrival of a new team led by Nadine Gelli and comprising 4 specialist lawyers

De Pardieu Brocas Maffei confirms its development and strengthens its Corporate Tax Law practice with the arrival of a new team comprising 4 lawyers. Led by Nadine Gelli, partner, the team advises on all tax aspects of corporate transactions, LBOs, financing and restructurings.

The Tax team now comprises 12 lawyers, including 3 partners, Nadine Gelli, Emmanuel Chauve and Alexandre Blestel who especially work in real estate tax law, and 2 counsels: Priscilla van den Perre and Jérôme Mas.
The Tax team also currently works with lawyers from the firm’s other departments, including the Corporate – M&A, Real Estate, Restructuring & Insolvency and Banking & Finance teams.

Nadine Gelli, Partner, 44, member of the Paris Bar since 1998, Nadine holds an advanced degree (DEA) in comparative law from the University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne (1997) and an advanced degree (DESS) in international tax from the University of Paris-Sceaux (1996).
She advises on all tax aspects of corporate transactions, in particular LBOs, financing and restructuring projects, and she also has expertise in the field of employee share schemes and benefits.
She started her career at Coudert Brothers in Paris in 1995 and then joined National Instruments Corporation in Texas as corporate counsel in 2001. Before joining the firm De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, she spent 14 years at Ashurst, where she was made partner in 2008 and headed the tax practice.

Priscilla van den Perre, Counsel, member of the Paris Bar since 2005, she holds an advanced degree (DESS) in business and tax law from the University of Paris I (Panthéon Sorbonne) (2002).
She specialises in tax law and is regularly involved in corporate transactions, in particular LBOs and restructuring projects. She also specialises in the setting up of investment vehicles (private equity, debt and real estate funds).
Before joining the firm De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, Priscilla spent all her career at Ashurst, where she became Counsel in 2014.

Sonia Bouaffassa, senior associate, member of the Paris Bar since 2008, she holds a Master degree (DESS) – DJCE) in Business law and Taxation from the University of Nancy II (2005).
She specialises in Tax law, intervening on the tax aspects of corporate M&A transactions in particular LBOs and restructurings. She also assists French and foreign companies on the tax aspects of their internal reorganizations (mergers, assets contributions, split-ups…).
Before joining the firm De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, Sonia started her career at STC Partners (from 2008 to 2012) and continued at Ashurst from 2012 to 2017.

Chloé Herbet, associate, member of the Paris Bar since 2016, she holds a Master Degree in Tax law from the University of Paris II Panthéon Assas (2012) and a Taxation LL.M from the Georgetown Law Center University (USA) (2015).
She specialises in tax law, in particular in business taxation.
Before joining the firm De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, Chloé started her career at Ashurst in 2015.
