Emmanuel Durand joins De Pardieu Brocas Maffei as Partner to reinforce the activities of the Competition Law and Merger Control team, alongside Laure Givry and Philippe Guibert, partners. He will be accompanied by two associates.

Emmanuel Durand, 45, is a specialist in competition law and merger control. In this respect, he advises clients in antitrust litigation files as well as in non-contentious matters, notably in merger control. He has also developed a highly recognized expertise in the fields of sport and media law.
Member of the Paris Bar since 1999, Emmanuel Durand holds a DESS-DJCE in Business Law from the University of Strasbourg III (1996) and he graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Strasbourg (1991).
Emmanuel Durand has been working at Clifford Chance Paris since 2002 where he became partner in 2013 after having previously worked at Herbert Smith Freehills (2000-2002) and Jeantet (1998-2000).
