A decade ago, France decided to move towards a new, more controlled, fairer and more efficient energy model, and set itself the target of halving its final energy consumption (compared with the 2012 baseline) by 2050. Year after year, the pace is accelerating, and the resources deployed by the government and other players continue to grow. 2024 is set to be an even more dynamic year, despite the less favorable economic climate.
