Advising a consortium of investors comprising the Le Mer family (co-founder of the group), Bpifrance, Arkea Capital Partenaire and a pool of investors led by Unexo in connection with the acquisition of the Sermeta group from its former shareholders, mostly including the American group Carlyle via a LBO.
Further to this transaction, the Sermeta group is gaining a national foothold with long-term shareholders likely to support the group in its development both on the French market and abroad.
Sermeta is the international leader of the stainless steel gas condensing heat exchangers manufacturers. Since its creation by Joseph Le Mer in 1993 , the group has established its growth in Europe, in the United States and in Asia on an innovative technology of stainless steel heat exchangers. The commercial success of the company is based on an extensive range of products whose performance and quality are recognized by the largest boiler manufacturers. Over the past few years, the company has demonstrated the strong capacity for innovation of its R&D department with the introduction of new patented products, as well as the industrial excellence of its Breton production sites (Morlaix and Lannion).
