Advising NEOEN Biomasse Energy de Commentry in connection with the financing and the construction of a biomass cogeneration plant

Advising the borrower NEOEN Biomasse Energy de Commentry in connection with the financing arranged by Natixis Energeco with respect to the construction of a biomass cogeneration plant with an electrical output of 14.9 MW and a thermal output of 48.5 MW located on the commune of Commentry (Allier) in France.

The borrower is a project company, the share capital of which is held by NEOEN BIOPOWER up to 51% and by CAISSE DES DEPOTS ET CONSIGNATIONS up to 49%.

The financing of the project is ensured by a credit facility in an amount of approximately EUR 57 million with a term of 15 years granted to the borrower by a pool of lenders comprising NATIXIS ENERGECO, Bpifrance Financement, Crédit du Nord, AUXIFIP, Caisse d’Epargne et de Prévoyance d’Auvergne et du Limousin and Banque Populaire du Massif Central.
