Three public-private partnerships relating to the design and construction of 12 secondary schools (collèges) in Seine-Saint-Denis have just been executed between Eiffage (Lot 1 and Lot 3) and the Seine-Saint-Denis Département, of the first part and a group set up between Fayat (Lot 2) and the Département of the second part. The law firms De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, JeantetAssociés and Norton Rose intervened in connection with the financing of these public-private partnerships.
Further to a competitive dialogue procedure, Eiffage and Fayat have been designated by the Seine-Saint-Denis Département as respective holders of two and one partnership agreements covering the overall mission comprising the design, demolition, construction, financing, partial upkeep and maintenance, major maintenance and renewal of two lots of 4 secondary schools for Eiffage and one lot of 4 secondary schools for Fayat.
The partnership agreements were entered into on April 5, 2012. The aggregate investment amounts to 300 million euros.
De Pardieu Brocas Maffei was the counsel to the arranger and lenders for Lots 1 and 3 (Société Générale and NordLB).
