Advising Ramsay Health Care and Crédit Agricole Assurances in connection with the takeover of Générale de Santé

Crédit Agricole Assurances – Prédica (“CAA”) and Ramsay Health Care Ltd (“Ramsay”) entered on June 10, 2014 into an agreement with the majority shareholders of Générale de Santé with respect to the acquisition of 83.43% of the share capital thereof.

It constitutes a decisive step in the development of Ramsay and CAA in the field of private hospitalization in France. Générale de Santé is indeed the national leader in private hospitalization. With its 75 establishments (MCO and SSR) and its 19,000 employees, it generates a € 1.7 billion turnover and takes care of more than one million patients a year.
