De Pardieu advises the lenders on the acquisition of Gecina’s YourFirst campus student housing portfolio by Nuveen Real Estate and GSA

De Pardieu has advised the lenders on the financing of the acquisition, by Nuveen Real Estate and GSA, of Gecina’s YourFirst Campus student housing portfolio for a disposal amount of €540 million. 

The portfolio comprises 20 operational assets and 1 development asset totaling over 3 700 beds, with 80% located in Paris, one of the most popular study destinations for students in Europe. Other assets are located near major universities in Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon and Marseille.

This strategic transaction marks the entry of Nuveen Real Estate and GSA into the French student housing market.
