De Pardieu has advised the lending banks on Fernhill Capital’s acquisition of a majority stake in LOU Légumes, France’s leading producer of fresh mushrooms. This transaction represents Fernhill Capital’s first investment since its inception.

Founded in 2009 and led by Fabrice Chapuzet and Emmanuelle Roze, LOU Légumes is a family-owned group specializing in the production of fresh mushrooms. With operations in Bretagne, Mayenne and Haute-Loire, the company generates approximately €50 million in revenue and employs nearly 400 people.

The transaction marks Fernhill Capital’s entry as the group’s majority shareholder. It is consistent with the fund’s growth strategy of supporting companies with significant potential for transformation and value creation through an operational approach to investment.

This investment is intended to enable LOU Légumes to accelerate its growth, strengthen its market position and pursue its development for the benefit of its customers, employees and the regions in which the group operates.
