De Pardieu Brocas Maffei supported the European Investment Bank, lender to the aeronautical equipment manufacturer Latécoère, in the restructuring process that began in May 2023.

This complex operation involved negotiations with the main creditors of Latécoère, under the aegis of the CIRI, and resulted in a conciliation agreement approved by the commercial court on June 16, 2023. This agreement allowed a significant reduction in the financial debt of Latécoère and a recapitalization through a capital increase of 125 million euros, carried out in December 2023. At the end of this operation, Searchlight Capital Partners (through the company SCP SKN Holding I SAS) holds 86.90% of the capital of Latécoère, thus consolidating its position as majority shareholder since 2019.

The European Investment Bank was advised by the firm De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, the team was led by Joanna Gumpelson (partner) and composed of Dorine Chazeau on the Restructuring aspects and Sandra Aloui (partner) on the Corporate aspects.
