Corentin Coatalem specialises in banking, finance and securities and particularly intervenes in the field of structured finance, acquisition and syndicated financing and debt restructuring. He is also a specialist of derivatives, in particular equity derivatives. He regularly advises the finance and equity capital market teams of financial institutions in Paris as well as investment funds and corporate borrowers in connection with their acquisition financing projects. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2002, he holds an advanced degree in business law (DJCE) from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (2000) and an advanced degree in tax and business law (DESS) from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne – HEC. He joined the firm as an associate in 2002.

Yannick Le Gall specializes in banking and finance and particularly intervenes in the field of structured and syndicated financings with a specific expertise in real estate finance transactions. His practice also covers the restructuring of debts and the purchase/transfer of banking receivables portfolios. He advises financial institutions, investment funds as well as French and international industrial and services groups. Admitted to the Lyon Bar in 2000, Yannick Le Gall holds an advanced degree (DJCE-DESS) in corporate and tax law from the University Lyon-III.  He joined the firm as an associate in 2004, after having worked within the corporate finance department of Norton Rose. He is also lecturing at HEC in connection with the HEC – Unibail-Rodamco – Morgan Stanley “Real Estate Chair”.

Marlène Benoist-Jaeger, Ghislain de Mareuil and Géraldine Piedelièvre have been appointed as counsels.

Marlène Benoist-Jaeger specialises in real estate investment transactions (particularly in the framework of sale and lease-back transactions (“externalisations”) acting for listed real estate companies and users, acquisitions and property development), commercial leases, real estate management and construction and urban planning law. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2000, Marlène Benoist-Jaeger holds an advanced degree (DESS) in tax and business law from the University of Paris II-Assas (1996) and graduated from the Institute for Political Sciences of Paris – Economics and Finance (1998). She joined the firm as an associate in 2000.

Ghislain de Mareuil specializes in China-Europe and China-Africa transactions (mergers and acquisitions, financing, large-scale projects, etc.). He has been working in China (Beijing Shanghai) or on China-related transactions since 2001. After having been a partner in charge of the China-Europe practice with an international law firm, Ghislain de Mareuil became one of the first Western lawyers to join a Chinese law firm, Allbright – one of the largest Chinese business law firms, headquartered in Shanghai. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 1998, Ghislain de Mareuil graduated from the Institute for Political Sciences of Paris (“Sciences Po”) – Economics and Finance (1992) and holds a Master in Law from the Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne University (1993) and a Master in International Business from the Paris Dauphine University (1993). Ghislain de Mareuil joined the firm’s Corporate and M&A department in 2012 as Counsel in charge of the Chinese Desk.

Géraldine Piedelièvre specialises in real estate investment transactions (particularly in the framework of sale and lease-back transactions (“externalisations”) acting for listed real estate companies and users, property development), commercial leases, real estate management and construction and urban planning law. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2000, she holds an advanced degree (DEA) in environmental law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (1999) and an advanced degree (DESS) in construction and urban planning law from the University of Paris XII Saint-Maur-la-Varenne (1998). She joined the firm as an associate in 2000.
