Advising Vinci Concessions, French construction and concessions group, in connection with the execution, through its subsidiary Caraibus, of a partnership agreement relating to the financing, construction and maintenance of a tramway-bus network (BHNS) with the Syndicat mixte du transport collectif en site propre (SMTCSP) of Martinique for an aggregate amount of EUR 98.6 million.
The partnership agreement with a term of 22 years relates to the financing, design, construction and maintenance of the tramway-bus network that Vinci must set up in Martinique, and to the delivery of bus.
The project financing is ensured by SMTCSP and Martinique region for EUR 18.4 million, by the Agencefrançaise de développement and the Direction des fonds d’épargne de la Caisse des dépôts et consignations for EUR 74.6 million (half each), and by net equity for EUR 5.6 million.
The partnership agreement is the first of its kind in Martinique.
