De Pardieu Brocas Maffei has advised Winncare, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of medical equipment intended to improve the lives of people losing their autonomy and those who care for them (caregivers and healthcare professionals), in view of the acquisition of Scemed.

The acquisition of Scemed, one of France’s leading manufacturers and distributors of medical transfer and hygiene equipment, would represent the 3^rd structuring external growth transaction carried out by Winncare since Siparex’s entry into its capital as majority shareholder in 2021. This merger would create a wide range of synergies and permit to Winncare to strengthen its transfer offer.

Closing of this transaction remains subject to the information and consultation process of the staff representative bodies of the relevant entities.
