De Pardieu Brocas Maffei has advised AXA IM on the implementation of a partnership between AXA IM – Real Assets and Hammerson plc, pertaining to the ownership and operation of Paris shopping centre Italie Deux, the city’s second largest shopping centre in terms of visitors.
Property fund AXA IM – Real Assets has announced that it has acquired from Hammerson plc a 75% stake in the 61,800 sq.m. shopping centre for EUR 473 million.
Hammerson plc retains a 25% stake in the shopping centre.
AXA IM – Real Estate was advised by De Pardieu Brocas Maffei with a team comprising partner Paul Talbourdet, Bénédicte Faurisson, Théophile Robinne and Priscillia Nègre on real estate aspects, partner Eric Muller and Frédéric Chabrier on corporate aspects, partner Emmanuel Chauve and François Peguesse on tax aspects. AXA IM – Real Estate was also advised by notary office Cheuvreux, with partners Jean-Félix Ferrus-Sicurani and Emmanuelle Gillès de Pélichy.
