De Pardieu advises Apheon on its acquisition of a majority stake in the Alma group

De Pardieu has advised Apheon on its acquisition of a majority stake in the Alma group, comprising Foo Seng and Varachaux.

Alma is a French group specializing in frozen food products. It brings together Foo Seng, a manufacturer of frozen Asian specialties, and Varachaux, a manufacturer of frozen meat- and plant-based protein products for the food industry and foodservice operators.

The transaction enabled Apheon to become majority shareholder of the Alma group alongside Daniel Coutinho, who retains an equity stake in the company and remains CEO of the group.
