De Pardieu Brocas Maffei assisted Arkema on securing the EU Commission State aid approval of the second Important Project of Common European Interest (“IPCEI”) called “European Battery Innovation”

De Pardieu Brocas Maffei advised Arkema on securing the EU Commission State aid approval of the second Important Project of Common European Interest (“IPCEI”) called “European Battery Innovation”, jointly prepared and notified by France and eleven other Member States to support research and innovation projects in all segments of the battery value chain.

On 26 January 2021, the EU Commission approved €2.9 billion public support for this IPCEI.

De Pardieu Brocas Maffei assisted Arkema on the State aid notification procedure to the EU Commission.
