De Pardieu has advised Apsys on the largest green financing deal of 2024, dedicated to an urban redevelopment project: 347 million euros to support the environmental ambition of the Canopia project consisting in the rehabilitation of a 4-hectare site in Bordeaux located between the railway station and the Garonne River.

For this transaction, and in the context of a market slowdown, Apsys has taken out the largest financing in its history with its two long-standing partners. With a 5-year term, it will cover almost two-thirds of the total cost. The environmental excellence of the project has convinced the lenders to set up a sustainable financing.

The Gare Saint-Jean district, where Canopia will be located, will soon be the new center of gravity of the city. It is scheduled to open in 2027.
