De Pardieu advises CNP Assurances on te setting-up of a joint-venture with La Mutuelle Generale held up to 65% by CNP Assurances and up to 35% by La Mutuelle Générale

De Pardieu has advised CNP Assurances, a major player in the insurance sector, on the setting-up of a joint venture with La Mutuelle Générale, an expert in the health and provident insurance businesses, intended to manage and develop the health and provident insurance activities of both groups.

This project will be completed through the acquisition by the CNP Assurances group of a controlling stake in a société anonyme, current subsidiary of La Mutuelle Générale, into which the latter will have previously transferred its existing health and provident insurance activities (excluding statutory contracts and mutualist activities).

The actual implementation of this project is subject to obtaining clearance and authorizations from the competent authorities.
