De Pardieu Brocas Maffei advised Cédric Varasteh, founder and partner of EuroTechnoCom group (ETC), front line supplier specializing in telecommunication and technology facilities, in connection with the entry into exclusive negotiations in view of the acquisition by Cinven of a majority stake in ETC’s share capital. In connection with this transaction, the current shareholders will become minority shareholders.
Since 2019, during the partnership between Carlyle and Cedric Varasteh, ETC has grown exponentially. The group hence tripled its revenues, surpassing a billion euros in 2021, saw its staff increase from 440 to 1,100 employees, and extended its geographic reach from 4 to 12 countries. By doing so, ETC strengthened its presence in the US, an attractive market which now represents more than half its sales.
This transaction remains subject to the customary regulatory approvals.
